The pained look in my Mother's eyes...

As she had to leave all her loved ones behind.

So many people came to send my parents off.

And I'm ever so grateful. Thankful.

The love.. it was felt..

'Forgive me...' she sobbed as she hugged me.

I do Ma. I do.

It's gonna be challenging without my parents for a month.

But hey, we're all grown ups now.

Just.. it gets lonely. Ya know?

To know that there's not gonna be anyone to come home to at times.

Or anyone to cook at home.

Or anyone to send me to work.

Sigh.

I wish them a blessed and fruitful pilgrimage.

I'll pray for you both.
