HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!

I caught part of the parade on tv today.

And it warmed my heart to see everyone's contributions.

Especially all the NSMen.

The tributes to them were beautiful.

I thought, as they made all the past NSMen stand up to salute them and offered their 'hormat'.

It takes us to perfect places.

I felt proud to be a part of this.

And the fact that I'm going to ORD Tomorrow...

The feels are real.

And I'm so ready.

It's finally gonna end.

So surreal.

It's been an honour serving.

And I'm thankful.
