So today I had my NS medical check-up. Haha, I was kinda nervous actually. And also worried that I would be lost & late for my appointment.
Took the train to Telok Blangah, then took a bus till I reached, and walked in. I was so lost, because the place wasn't that… visible. Checked in and went to find CMPB. The instructions weren't really clear, but the first thing I had to do was to take a photograph, wearing this weird coat on. Then I took my waiting number and went to my designated stations. I'll explain them in order.
First was Station 5 - It was a hearing test. We were to be seated in this small room with a transparent window. In it was a headset, and we were told to wear it. The first sound heard, we had to raise our hands. So.. every time there's a sound. *raises hands*
And it looked freaking funny and weird seeing people doing that behind the transparent window. LOL. Like you're some mental patient tryna say hi to the people outside. HAHAHA.
Station 4 - Standard Eye test, really fast.
Station 3 - X-Ray Test. Where you have to give a model pose, and they take your x-ray, HAHA,
Station 2 - Dental Check. Apparently I have some tooth missing?? LOL IDK,
Station 1 - Urine Dipstick test… Lol. They locked the cubicles ._. So I had to use the urinals ._. and knowing me.. I don't use urinals!!! Ugh. Was forced to anyways. Sigh. The guy didnt even check my urine stick properly lol!. He just took a glance.
In the same station, we also had to take a blood test. Aiya nothing laaa. ;)
Station 6 - Had to take off shoes. It was pretty crowded here. Lol. We sat on a line of chairs and kept shifting after each person left. Musical chair issit. .-.
Took my height and weight. I lost weight sia hais. And I haven't grown as usual. LOL.
Also took the ECG and blood pressure tests. The ECG used was different than the wards.. much bigger. and some represent clothes pegs LOL. The electrodes used on my chest were huge and round. And when the medic was finished, he just pulled it out hard. HE LITERALLY PULLED MY SOUL OUT OKAY ._. Free waxing issit?!?
Next was the face-to-face interview with the soldier there, where we had to 'declare' some 'stuff' if we wanted to, and they also made us pull our pants down to check.. ._. Ahem.
Next was Station 7 - The most dreaded one.. OMG. I literally had a mental blackout doing it HAHAHA. 9 modules in forms of online questions were to be done, and they tested us on Algebra, patterns, physics.. Lots of irrelevant shit that I haven't touched for years LOL. And it took approximately 2 hours to complete. Imagine that!! ;-;
Lol. anyway, apparently my ECG has some problems and I have to go back in November to re-check. -.- Seriously.. Why couldn't they check at the spot? Not like there was much people at the time.. Sheesh. Just hope it won't affect my attachment timing next month.
Ah well. After the loooong day, went to have dinner with this boy at Nandos. :)
So shy for what ._. HAHA.

We haven't met for like.. what.. 3 months?! Haha. So we did a lot of catching up and heart-to-heart talks. =) Haha.. I'm always learning something from him. Like how I gotta love myself first before loving others.

After dinner, walked around the mall and lepak-ed at the rooftop garden, and did what we always do best when we meet, take SELFIESS!!!! :D

Haha. Always enjoyed meeting up with him. Makes my planless holidays worth it! LOL. We've been complaining about how miserable our holidays have been. ._.
Ah well. Gonna savour the last remaining days. Rawr. Peace. xx
