I walked slowly past the empty street.

My ears were plugged with the same song on the repeat.

The cool breeze blowing in my face.

Tears started to well up.

How was I in this same position again?

Empty. 

That was the only thing I felt that night.

That same, old familiar feeling.

It's been exactly 3 months since you left me in pieces.

I've been using the time to patch myself up.

Slowly.

Serving the nation.. it helped to keep me sane.

It kept me busy.

I've been improving myself.
