A series of events happened last night.

I found myself in the same spot as last year.

That was due to a failed performance.

But this was different.

I went out for a breather.

I was contented.

Alone.

Sitting on that bench.

In the dark.

Away from the crowd.

And the familiar faces.

Breaking my fast.

Just.. at peace.

Who am I kidding.

I didnt belong here.

I didnt fit in.

Never did.

No matter how hard I try, I can't break away from my introvert ways.

I heaved a big sigh and walked back.

That night I accepted that things weren't gonna be the same.

I could've left but I stayed.

Till the end.

Where I was again, left a little lost.

I didnt know who I was waiting for.

Everyone had somebody.

So I packed up at the end and walked home.

And that's.. when I had the encounter.

It was unexpected.

But I enjoyed the momentary bliss.

It was the sweetest moment I had in a long while.

And we enjoyed each other.

I left that night feeling great after all.

But then I knew...

This wouldn't go anywhere else.

I knew.

So this was where I was.

The exact same spot as last year.

Alone.
