One More Light

Page 825

Chester Bennington.

RIP.

A hero.

A Legend.

You left us with songs that touched millions of souls.

Thank you for being a part of my childhood.

Linkin Park was the first band I've ever listened to.

The news broke as I was scrolling through my Twitter feed this morning.

I don't know why, but I was so gutted. My heart broke. The pain was real.

Especially the fact that he took his own life. Unexpectedly.

I'm sure everyone felt that way too.

Songs from the past came back.

Everything hurts because it all makes sense now.

And the last performance he did.. it was so genuine and heartfelt.

I'm speechless.

It feels surreal.

Suicide is never an option.

The world just got a little darker.

Sometimes all we need.. is one more light.

You were that light.

Rest in peace.

Love, Eran.

Current Song Mood: Linkin Park - One More Light

Should've stayed, were there signs, I ignored?
Can I help you, not to hurt, anymore?
We saw brilliance, when the world, was asleep
There are things that we can have, but can't keep

If they say
Who cares if one more light goes out
In the sky of a million stars
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out
If a moment is all we are
Or quicker, quicker
Who cares if one more light goes out
Well I do

The reminders, pull the floor from your feet
In the kitchen, one more chair than you need, oh
And you're angry, and you should be, it's not fair
Just 'cause you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there

If they say
Who cares if one more light goes out
In the sky of a million stars
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out
If a moment is all we are
Or quicker, quicker
Who cares if one more light goes out
Well I do

Who cares if one more light goes out
In the sky of a million stars
It flickers, flickers
Who cares when someone's time runs out
If a moment is all we are
Or quicker, quicker
Who cares if one more light goes out
Well I do
Well I do
