'You come alone?' The immigration officer stared at me, surprised.

'Yes.' I looked at him adamantly.

Basically the most frequently question asked the past 2 days.

I slid past the checkpoints. 

In my hand were extra boarding tickets.

And his name was on it.

I tore it. Crushed it.

And took a deep breath.

I was really doing this.

I got out to the mall, the familiar surroundings. 

Yep. Been here.

I walked to MegaMall.

Decided to settle down at A&W for brunch.

Yum.

I was craving for root beer float.

And I did get it.

The chicken and burger on the other hand.. were surprisingly disappointing.

But oh well. The float was still alright.

What next? A haircut.

A Premium one.

It was so....

Amazing. Just for the price of $10? - It includes washing, scalp/facial massage, aloe vera mask, eye mask, hot and cold towels, and even styling. I was blown away. Not to mention, got myself a sick gentleman haircut. Wiiiiig.

So by the time I was done, it was already 2PM, perfect to check in.

Booked the taxi to where I was staying. Harmony Suites Hotel.

Reached there and the processing time was so long. By the time I got my room, it was like 4.30PM.  In between a Malay family chatted me up, and apparently they stayed in the same area as me in SG. Hahaha. It was weird and awkward, but nice. They asked if I was used to coming here alone. I just said.. Yeah. Lol.

I lazed in the hotel room for a bit, before deciding to go to Nagoya Hill Mall.

Walked to the short cut told by the front counter. 

Past the forever busy roads. And to Nagoya Hill Mall it was.

The same familiar route. Heh.

Brought back memories from 2 years ago.

Did some more touring around the mall. Bought Tickets to... Wreck It Ralph hahaha.

Then had dinner at Malaya Cafe (ate there before)

Not bad la. Still had time to kill.

Fast forward to 7pm.

Had mah movie. And oh boyyy.  

The messages I got throughout the movie...

About letting someone you love go, if you really love that person.

That struck me. Shit. Hahaha. This is all fated as fuck.

Ps, The Disney Princesses cameo was HILARIOUS I loved it.

Next up? 

Back to the hotel. Before that I bought Line just to.. ya know. Be less bored.

And it did help.

Met a few people that night that... well... helped me be less lonely.

And I'm glad I did. Because it helped. A lot.

The night passed fast and soon I was having breakfast buffet at Level 2. Nice. Nothing like free food lmao. And omelettes are a MUST.

Wanted to swim after but was so turned off by the small murky pool, I decided to nap in the hotel till check out, 12PM. Packed my stuff and left for Nagoya Mall.

Bought some cakes and cabbed back to MegaMall, where I ended up watching a horror movie, and had a massage (Its the main reason this trip was booked. Kinda)  The massage was alrightttt. (I've obviously had better) I realised I have this low pain tolerance hahaha ugh.

Ate at Wendys and the cashier was so... like so done with his job and life? LOL. Thats the vibe I received. After dinner I bought even more treats to bring back home for family and colleagues. :)

Well, time to cross Batam out of my checklist.

By the time I took the ferry, the sun was down.

Something I've wanted to do with you..

Watching the sunset.

And all this while..

I pictured.

Imagined.

What it would be like.

If you were still here.

Still by my side.

Going through this two days with me.
