Had a nice encounter at Giant yesterday.

Bought more stuff than usual cause there was a lot on sale.

Including two boxes of Cornflakes.

The Malay cashier laughed and said 

'Wah, like Hari Raya!'

I laughed.

Her colleague had to go toilet and she filled in for him, even though her shift has ended.

'Its okay, pity him. Later when I go back and he's all alone, very hard to go toilet.'

I was like. Wow. You're awesome. 

She said 'Its okay. You do good to others, others will do good to you.'

What a positive attitude.

There was a queue that started to form behind me. But she just took her time. 

She paused and decided to tell me a funny incident earlier.

'Just now got a underage kid trying to buy cigarettes. I told him cannot la! You know what he told me? Ehhh can la, just don't tell anyone la' 

She gave him a piece of her mind after that.

I burst out laughing.

By this time she finished packing. But she left out my two chicken hams. She lifted a plastic bag and saw them.

'Eh this one yours right? Hahaha sorry, I'm a bit tired.'

I told her 'No problem :)'

I thanked her before I left.

That was a pleasant encounter, something you don't see everyday in Singapore.

A natural woman with a good heart and a positive attitude.
