Small drops of water fell on my sleepy face.

The drops became frequent.

I woke up, staring into the open sky, surrounded by trees.

I could hear the people around me moving, packing their stuff.

'Please, please don't rain. Not now.' I whispered.

And then it happened.

Heavy rain started pouring.

*SIREN WAILING*

'GO TO THE TRAINING SHED, NOW!!!'

I got up quickly, fumbling in the dark.

Wore my socks & shoes, covered whatever was left behind with my ground sheet, and got out of my shellscrape.

I ran fast, having only my torchlight with me.

Surrounded by countless of panicking bodies.

We headed to the shed, drenched.

It was chaotic, and I was on my own.

I looked around for familiar faces.

I felt so alone.

'Hey, your section is over there.

A kind face appeared.

'Here, take my hand.'

I took his hand, as he lead me to safety.

I've never felt so at ease.

Having to wake up in my own home is such a warm feeling.

Slept through the whole morning.

Guess my body's still shagged from yesterday.

Took the time today to recover.

Did some covers, and snacked a lot haha.

So weird to not to be in bunk at this timing.

Gotta enjoy/spend my block leave this week wisely.

Hoping to make the best out of it.

Just, something's missing...
