The journey was a long one. You listened to your music, and me, I just listened to mine.

'How romantic.' 

I thought sarcastically, reminding myself how lonely I've been feeling lately.

Reminding myself, to not be so dependent on someone to be happy.

I had to be there for myself.

DAY 4!

Got up at 1am in the morning. Got ready and headed downstairs where our driver met us. He drove us to Mount Batur. It was soooo cold! We touched the windows of the car and it was freezing! The roads looked so ulu but when we arrived, we saw lots of people and tourists. It was really dark and super cold. We met up with our tour guide, whom gave us a pair of torchlights, and started trekking. It was easy at first, but as the path grew steeper and more narrow, it got more scary. I stumbled quite a couple of times. The thought of falling the cliffs were so real and scary. But I pushed through. I was sweating cold sweat. We took lots of breaks in between, and my legs started becoming like jelly. So shaky hahaha. Even B was getting sick cause he doesn't exercise LOLOL! It was really really tiring, and we questioned why we signed up for this HAHAHA.

Eventually we reached our first pit stop, and we both just sat down in exhaustion. We ended up not completing the whole thing hahaha, and just sat at the nearby watch area. I think we were 75% up? :) Took lots of pictures, and we were served  a simple breakfast, banana sandwich and eggs. It was really nice :) 

So fucking pretty.

See his happy face. When in reality he was half alive by then time we got here. HAHAHA.

We watched as the sun rose and it was breathtaking. Though I was still shivering from the cold. And we were so proud of our achievement!! #BaliGoals hahaha.

Once we were done, we went back down our guide showed us around the mountain. 

The road was long. But we eventually reached our starting base. It was such a relief to be able to sit down and rest. Oh gosh. This is the first and last time I'm doing this!! HAHAHA.

Our driver picked us up, and showed us a picturesque place to snap a pic.

Then he brought us to a Kopi Luwak farm where we tried out free drinks!! There were so many types with so many benefits, and I was glad I did try at last. It really was good! :)

So nice!

We were given the opportunity to see how they made their coffee, and it was pretty interesting.

Went back to our driver who brought us to a shopping place called Krisna. And my gosh, it had the best items with the best price! So glad he brought us there. Too bad I didnt bring enough yet, so I only bought a couple of stuff. Will be coming back for sure! :)

Overall we had a super long day and KO'ed once we reached the hotel.

Time to rest for tomorrow!
