I've never broken somebody's heart so badly before…

Doing it right before I started work is the WORSE thing ever. And to work while my heart is uneasy.. it's so damn tough. I couldn't help thinking about how you were taking it. Ironically, this is the exact same day that I stopped going after my first date a year ago. And for you to mention, 'This time it won't be as hard as ur first date.' Ouch. And when you unfollowed me on Insta? OUCH.

During break I sat at the staircase alone. I felt the need to find out how you were doing… I tried calling. But you didn't pick up. It felt like forever. When the line beeped, I just hung my head, and closed my eyes. My heart felt so heavy. And when you texted  back, my mood instantaneously got lifted up again. 

The truth is, I'm still confused. Confused with myself. With my feelings. I see other normal couples, and I look at myself and go:

'What the fuck am I doing?'

It's so weird. I can feel the difference without your presence. Everything I do keeps reminding me of you. And I can only imagine how hard it is for you. I never meant for it to be this way… At least.. At least I hope you won't stop talking to me. I still care about you.
